Top Fastest Car In The World

Hennessey Exorcist -- 1,000bhp, n/a mph

Obviously, Texan horsepower fetishist John Hennessey couldn't allow Dodge like the spoils of war for long without devoting his own unleaded-swilling riposte -- with a smart name to boot. The Exorcist isalso, as you can see, according to a Camaro ZL1 (or even the more monitor focused 1LE, if you want ), and, ahem, trumps the Dodge option by developing 1,000bhp. The top speed is so much unknown, but since the 0-60mph period is sub 3sec, we believe you'll agree it deserves a place among 2017's very unhinged performance cars.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS -- 691bhp, 211mph

We waited quite a while for Porsche to turn the 991-generation of 911 to a 'widowmaker'. When the 691bhp GT2 RS came, and we drove it, the most shocking thing was habitable and un-terrifying it was. That's modern tyres and aerodynamics for you. And consequently, the GT2 RS blitzed around the Nrburgring at a new record time of 6mins 43.7sec. Notice: to replicate this time you need to be handy and brave as an true expert racing driver.

McLaren 720S -- 710bhp, 211mph

The McLaren 720S has attracted hypercar functionality to the supercar realm. It is vividly quick, and about the road, you'd struggle to see a gap in impulse between it and the P1. However, besides being a land-borne missile, it's also truly engaging to drive at reduced speed and incredibly friendly and pragmatic, which is much more of a success than its sensational performance. It's TG's supercar of this year.

Ferrari 812 Superfast -- 789bhp, 211mph

We are living in a mad, mad world. One of many pieces of evidence that this is true is that the fact that Ferrari's series-production big-booted GT car is powered by a 789bhp V12 that'll send it past 62mph in 2.9 seconds and on to a top rate of 211mph. If that is one of the last of those classic V12 supercars, before hybrids and turbos finally kill off them, then exactly what a thing to do.
